Welcome to Tauranga Yoga

The Tauranga Yoga Centre has been giving these benefits, at minimal costs, to its members since 1962. Situated on the edge of the beautiful Waikareo Estuary, in Tauranga city, the Centre has spacious, airy premises with necessary equipment provided.

Classes and workshops at the centre cater for all ages and abilities from beginners through to general classes for the slightly more advanced. Within each class students are encouraged at all times to work to their own abilities with examples of alternative poses frequently given.

Styles vary from instructor to instructor with no rigid adherence to any one teacher or style. Members are able to attend a range of different classes to find an approach which best suits them. Visiting instructors also ensure we provide a varied programme. Everyone who wishes to do so, can practise some form of yoga, which will bring release from stress, serenity and happiness.

The Tauranga Yoga Centre is an incorporated Society - goverened by and elected committee and registered with the Charities Commission.
