As we move into our winter, it is natural for us to move inwards and to reflect and dream.
During these months, we want to maintain a healthy and balanced flow of the water element throughout the body. To help us achieve this-our practice will focus on nourishing the paired meridians of the Kidney and Bladder. The Kidney meridian is connected to the lower back and chest. The bladder meridian influences the flow of Qi into the muscles and energy along the spine and back of the legs.
A yin practice is a breath-centred practice of moving very gently and mindfully into poses with the support of props so we can feel and follow the sensations each pose creates in the body/mind.
