Yin yoga is a safe and suitable practice for beginners and is the perfect compliment for a more active practice.
It gives us time to really feel each asana (pose) by gently deepening into it with awareness and attention with every breath. This in essence is the beginning point for learning how to become ‘mindful’ about our very busy minds
Yin works on the fascia tissue (deep layers of connective tissue) and on the meridians/nadi’s (energy lines) within our bodies.
